Trains of Talgo (reference)

TCMS and safety functionalities for high speed trains in Spain

Talgo’s AVE Renfe high speed trains are equipped with EKE’s Train Control and Management Systems including twelve train-wide safety functions.

EKE-Trainnet TCMS technology controls train subsystems, gives the train driver early warnings of possible dangerous failures, and, if necessary, forces the train to stop. The EKE system has been implemented redundantly, which has enabled the trains to maintain a high level of availability.
